Ⅰ. ABOUT NANYANG

Situated in the southwest of Henan, Nanyang offers a wonderful geographic connection among Henan, Hubei and Shananxi province. Its abundant natural resources and a galaxy of outstanding people entitled itself China's famous historical and cultural cities and excellent tourist cities. With a total area of 26,600 square kilometers, its current population reached 12 million, being the largest and most populous provincially administered city in Henan.

Endowed with a splendid Culture, Nan Yang has given birth to talented people from generation to generation, including the science sage Zhang Heng, the medical sage Zhang Zhongjing, the commerce sage Fan Li , the mind sage Zhu Geliang, the plan-wise sage Jiang Ziya and Bai Lixi, the famous minister. During the Three Kingdoms period, nanyang was the place where Zhu Geliang cultivated himself and was the birthplace of Liu Bei’s “three visits to Zhu Geliang”. Nanyang Xichuan boasts of one of the world's largest water diversion project and it is one of the important core water source areas.

Nanyang successively won the China excellent tourist city, the hometown of Chinese rose, the first batch of national new energy demonstration cities, China's top ten most innovative city, happiest cities of China and other honorary titles. In June 2017, nanyang city was named National Health City.
    Nanyang jade is one of the four most famous jades. Named "Chinese jade carving hometown", the stone Buddha temple town, which is known as the"Chinese jade", is China's largest jade processing and trade center. It is also known as "the first town of Chinese jade. Nanyang has become the world's largest production and sales base of jade carving crafts, holding China nanyang jade carving festival and international jade culture exposition every year.
As China's Excellent Tourism City, Nanyang has rich tourism resources. China Xixia Dinosaur Relics Park and Xixia Old Border Ridge are national 5A level tourist attractions. Nanyang has one World Geopark (China Nanyang Funiu Mountain World Geopark), 7 national and provincial nature reserves, 8 national and provincial forest parks, 2 national 5A tourist attractions, and 17 national 4A tourist attractions. There are 15 national 3A-level scenic spots, which are famous tourist cities in Central Plains.

Nanyang has superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Nanyang airport is one of the three civil airports in henan province. Direct flights to Beijing, Shanghai, guangzhou, shenzhen, chengdu, hangzhou, xiamen, dalian, kunming, lanzhou, zhengzhou, chongqing and other cities. The road network is well-connected, and Nanyang has become an important transportation hub city in the central region.

 

Ⅱ.HENAN POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE

Henan Polytechnic Institute, attached to the People's Government of Henan Province, has been identified as “Demonstrative higher vocational colleges project construction institutions of Henan Province”, the “national key higher vocational colleges project construction unit” and the “project of Henan national higher vocational school construction”. It has been awarded the National Advanced Unit in Employment ,National advanced unit in vocational education and National Training Award for outstanding contribution of technical talents, etc.

Founded in 1973, HPI boasts of more than 183 training centers specialized in machinery, electricity and so on, and 335 training center bases off-campus. There is one provincial-level engineering laboratory, Henan Flexible Manufacturing engineering laboratory, two provincial engineering technology research centers. The total experiment and training equipment is valued at 140 million RMB. The library comprises about 987,100 volumes. There are 12 national key construction majors ,16 provincial key construction majors and 3 training bases supported by the central government at present. 4 courses have been selected as state-level fine courses, 7 courses have been selected as provincial-level courses. According to China and Regional Competitiveness Evaluation of Higher Vocational College Promulgated by the China Authority of Science Evaluation Research Center in 2017, the school ranked 36^th in 1346 higher vocational colleges all over the country , ranking the first in Henan province.

HPI boasts a staff of 588 full-time teachers, among whom there are more than 170 teachers with the title of professor, 520 teachers with double-certificates, and 289 part-time teachers from enterprises. 3 professors were awarded the State Council special government subsidy, 4 provincial-level outstanding teachers. There is 1 state–level teaching team, 6 provincial-level teaching team. HPI has achieved excellent results in national and provincial skills competitions. HPI has established 60 advanced vocational specialties of 8 schools and  departments, covering Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Automation, Urban Construction, Economics and Management, Automobile Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Applied Foreign Languages and International Education. Focused on Machinery, Electrics, Civil Engineering, HPI is in pursuit of a coordinated development among Engineering, Management, economics and liberal arts.

At present, Henan Polytechnic Institute (HPI) covers 1,200 MU (80 HECTARES) with 539,800 square meters of school buildings. Entitled with the backbone of higher vocational education, Henan Polytechnic Institute ( HPI ) was cradled by the Dushan Forest Park, the Baihe Wetland Park, the Li Ning Sports Park and the Main Stadium of the 7th National Farmers Sports Meeting.

The living facilities of the student apartment are complete and equipped with optical fiber broadband network interface. Each student has a separate desk and wardrobe, a separate bathroom in the dormitory, a spacious and bright student canteen and delicious food from all over the country. Dormitory is featured by reasonable management, comfortable and safe environment. Supermarket, bank and comprehensive service facilities are available.

The school attaches great importance to education training and campus culture construction. There are rich and colorful campus cultural activities such as college students' science and technology culture art festival, association culture festival, career planning competition, vocational skills contest. More than 60 students associations  and innovation teams are founded, covering calligraphy, martial arts, tai chi, street dance, band, roller skating and drama play, etc, so as to enable students to actively participate in various social commonweal activities, and their personality is entitled with all-round development.

 

Ⅲ. Recruit Specialty and Characteristics of International Education

2. Hold winter/summer camp for short-term language learning in winter and summer vocations.

3. Professional learning integrates language learning and professional ability promotion and attaches importance to cultivation of students' professional skills.

4. Language learning courses cover language learning and experiencing traditional culture as calligraphy, painting, martial arts, etc. and integrate learning and interests into an organic whole.

1.     Henan Government Scholarship

Henan government Scholarship is set up by Henan Provincial Education Department and provided to the admitted specialty-learning students and language students, including full scholarship and half scholarship.

(3) The admitted students should apply for visa for studying abroad (XI visa) at the Chinese Embassy in their country and register in Henan Polytechnic Institute before the specified deadline.

一、  南阳简介

南阳位于河南省西南部、豫鄂陕三省交界地带，总面积2.66万平方公里。人口1200多万，在河南省18个省辖市中面积最大、人口最多。是中国著名历史文化名城和优秀旅游城市。

南阳是国家历史文化名城，有2000多年的历史，为楚汉文化的发源地。曾孕育出科圣张衡、医圣张仲景、商圣范蠡、智圣诸葛亮、谋圣姜子牙、名相百里溪等历史名人。三国时期，南阳是诸葛亮躬耕之地、刘备“三顾茅庐”发源地。南阳淅川是世界最大调水工程南水北调中线陶岔渠首枢纽工程所在地和重要的核心水源区之一。

南阳先后荣膺中国优秀旅游城市、中国月季之乡、首批国家新能源示范城市、中国十大最具创新力城市、中国最具幸福感城市等荣誉称号。2017年6月南阳市被命名国家卫生城市。

南阳玉是四大名玉之一，镇平被国家命名为“中国玉雕之乡”，被誉为“中华玉都”，石佛寺镇，是中国最大的玉石加工贸易中心，更是被成为“中国玉雕第一镇”。南阳已成为全球最大的玉雕工艺品生产、销售基地,每年举办中国南阳玉雕节暨国际玉文化博览会。

南阳旅游资源丰富，是中国优秀旅游城市，中国西峡恐龙遗迹园、西峡老界岭为国家5A级旅游景区。南阳拥有世界地质公园1个（中国南阳伏牛山世界地质公园），国家和省级自然保护区7个，国家级和省级森林公园8个，国家5A级旅游景区2家，国家4A级旅游景区17家，国家3A级景区15家，为中原著名的旅游城市。

南阳地理位置优越，交通便利。南阳飞机场是河南三大民用飞机场之一，机场规模也跃升为河南省第二大机场。可直飞北京、上海、广州、深圳、成都、杭州、厦门、大连、昆明、兰州、郑州、重庆等城市。公路网更是四通八达，南阳已成为中部重要的交通枢纽城市。

 

二、河南工业职业技术学院简介

河南工业职业技术学院是隶属于河南省人民政府的公办全日制普通高职院校，是河南省示范性高职院校、国家骨干高职院校和国家级优质校立项建设单位。学校先后荣获全国就业先进工作单位、全国职业教育先进单位、国家技能人才培育突出贡献奖等荣誉。

学校创建于1973年，现有校内实验实训室183个、校外实习实训基地335个，拥有1个省级工程实验室，2个省高校工程技术研究中心。固定资产总值7.14亿元，，图书馆藏书98.71万册。有国家级重点建设专业12个，省级重点建设专业16个。有4门国家级精品课，7门省级精品课程，中央财政支持建设的实训基地3个。在中国科学评价研究中心权威发布的《2017年中国高职高专院校及地区竞争力评价》中，我校在全国1346所高职高专院校中排名第36位，河南省排名第一。

学院现有专任教师588人，企业兼职教师289人，其中专任教师具有副高级以上职称170人，双师素质教师520人。享受国务院特殊津贴专家3人，省职教专家2人，省级教学名师4人。国家教学团队1个，省级教学团队6个。学校设置8个教学院系，开设机械类、机电类、建筑类、汽车类、电子信息类、计算机类、经管类、外语类、环境类等60余个专业。形成了以工科专业为主体，以机、电、土木类专业为重点，工、管、经、文协调发展的专业结构体系。

学院规划用地1261.8亩，建筑面积53.98万平方米。学校依山傍水美如画，东有白河国家湿地公园、李宁体育园，东南有南阳“鸟巢”体育场，西北有独山森林公园。校园内楼群宏伟美观、错落有致，花木交荫、景色宜人，构成了充满现代气息、富蕴人文氛围的育人环境。

四、奖学金设置

1．河南省政府奖学金

河南省政府奖学金由河南省教育厅设立，面向被录取的学历生和语言进修生提供全额和半额奖学金。

奖学金额度

全额奖学金：免除一半学费、住宿费全免；

半额奖学金：免除一半学费、住宿费免除一半。

3．申请河南省政府奖学金需提供的材料:

2) 高中毕业成绩单原件或经过公证的复印件；

3) 汉语水平或英语水平证明或同等语言能力证明；

1．申请资格

2．申请流程

1）获取《河南工业职业技术学院外国来华留学生入学申请表》（从www.hnpi.cn/gjhz下载），并按要求如实填写有关内容。

2）经学校审核同意后，寄发录取通知书和已审批的《外国留学生来华签证申请表》（JW202）。

3）申请人持学校寄发的录取通知书、《外国留学生来华签证申请表》、《外国人体格检查表》和其他相关材料到所在国家的中国使领馆申请办理学习签证（X签证），然后按照规定时间来校报到，并缴纳各项费用。

3．申请时需提供的材料

入学申请表、护照复印件、成绩证明、体格检查表、无犯罪记录证明、个人照片。
